The Menopause Chicks Manifesto

  • We will bring menopause out of the closet.
  • We will crack open the conversation about perimenopause & menopause. And, we will help you start your own conversations.
  • We will curate the best-of-the-best available information (and discard all the crap that isn’t worthy of your time). We will build tools that will help you navigate your journey to menopause, and beyond.
  • We will read books, review books and give away books. We will review websites, steer you towards the best, and steer you away from the duds. We will try products, review products and give you our best, most thoughtful and honest opinion.
  • We will interview experts on all the subject areas that may help you chart your path–from traditionalists to naturalists, nutritionists to yoga enthusiasts, psychologists to fitness experts, hormone experts and more. We will share their expertise in a format that works for you.
  • We will blog. We will invite others to blog. We will ask questions. We will invite you to events.
  • We will build MenoCAUSE–so women challenged by inadequate resources can access the same powerful information we can, and no one suffers in silence, or feels alone in this process.
  • We will enable you to make the best decisions for YOU. Without judgment.
  • We envision a future where the word menopause doesn’t clear the cocktail party. And all women are able to create conversations that lead them to the support they desire: from their health care provider, their familes and their friends.
  • And at every turn, we will work to save you time, money and frustration from the sea of overwhelm.

Love the manifesto! Finally, a place where people don’t assume they know what will ‘fix’ the situation for me, or have all the answers. Wisdom usually comes in the form of good questions asked. Thank you for asking such great questions and for promising to ask many more.
